LIST OF TREATMENTs
Do you want to make your beach tennis or padel racket even more performing? Give it an absolutely innovative "sandblasting effect"?
You can do it from GLIPPER through its treatments that are made according to your needs. There is the most suitable treatment for all levels of players.
It is made with a varnish with a high power to reduce thickness and weight and a long resistance which goes to incorporate the flakes of the material, at the same time it also has a rapid drying advantage.

BASIC
(Beach and Padel) Microsphere treatment that gives a good grip but above all an excellent homogeneity to the plate making it more reactive , therefore with evident improvements. It is completely invisible so it does not alter the graphics of the racket which instead appears much brighter and more shiny. It is an "entry level" treatment for those who have never used them and do not want to drastically change the plate of the racket. The new BASIC SMALL is a novelty introducing a smaller microsphere compared to the traditional BASIC which also involves a slight reduction in weight . It is indicated as the best treatment on PADEL. A slight hardening of the plate is also possible on request. It provides a weight gain of 6-8 grams.

stone
(Beach) Treatment with small/medium thickness artificial sand which appears pointed and provides considerable grip on the ball.
It is used on all types of rackets but requires a powerful and expert game . It is colored so it is much more visible on the plate. If required, it is possible to harden the plate with STONE 75. The weight increases by 6-7 grams.

solid
(Beach) Treatment with quartz flakes that gives the racket a powerful grip but above all a very reactive and explosive plate, increasing its elasticity. The material is white-transparent quartz with larger flakes than the Strong treatment, therefore a little more in relief.
It is suitable for medium-hard rackets from which you want to change the properties of the same, in fact, on particularly hard rackets it does not favor elasticity. The weight increases by 9-10 grams.

strong
(Beach and Padel) Strong has now become our “workhorse”. It is a treatment that is used by the vast majority of players because it “does not fail”! The material is white-transparent quartz with smaller flakes than the Solid treatment, it gives an advantage of homogeneity to the entire surface of the plate which also assumes an excellent grip capacity. This type of treatment is diversified by the possibility of hardening the plate precisely to satisfy the needs of players who want to change the characteristics of the basic racket making it, in fact, harder than the original. We have therefore divided the types into these three treatments: Strong 60 (standard, does not harden), Strong 70 (hard), Strong 80 (very hard). The increase in weight is 7-8 gr.

flatty
(Beach and Padel) It is the latest born but we specify that it is not a real treatment if by treatment you mean covering the plate with grains of material. Do you have a completely shiny racket and you absolutely do not want to have grains or flakes on it? Do you want to change the shiny effect with a light "rough" that can help you? Here is FLATTY the powder coating that gives your racket a splendid rough effect that is not too invasive. It is spread over the entire surface of the plate or on a part of it, it is suitable for any beach and padel racket . The powder used is mixed with our usual transparent paint with the advantage, in addition to the final roughness, of a better ball output compared to the original. Obviously the racket will no longer have the shiny effect as with other treatments. The increase in weight is really slight, 4-5 gr.

flatty mask
(Beach and Padel) It is made with a special covering mask that is then removed. The material is laid out (Basic microspheres or you can also insert Strong quartz flakes) so that the racket leaves raised lines 4 mm wide with a slight thickness that act as a gripping effect on the ball.
Attention : it is not a sticker. The weight increase is in the order of 3-4 gr.

WHY DO THE TREATMENT?
Players require this processing to improve their game. Absolutely true! The improvement of the game is real and occurs in some phases of the game where the blow inflicted on the ball by a treated racket allows the ball itself to take on a greater effect and a more "deceptive" trajectory on the game it will receive.
So service and smash are the predominant blows in which the player will " benefit " from having the treatment on the racket. But not only. Overall, having the treatment is "always" useful also to make the tool more performing . For professionals this speech is "absolute", that is, for most of them the treatment on their racket cannot be missing! Now even those who play padel need these performances and for them we have studied new treatments.

When not needed?
Obviously for those who approach beach tennis or padel. For beginners who begin to take the first lessons on the basic technique and who are not yet expert enough to effectively exploit the basics of the specialty.

Technique and materials
Many, really many, the methods used in these elaborations. The most effective, however, as already announced, are the basic theme for the few professionals in the sector .
Today there are paints absolutely suitable for this purpose: they evaporate in a very short time, have a high dry residue, that is, a light layer of paint remains which in any case incorporates the granule used, making the treatment on the plate of the racket long-lasting. The treatments on the racket are designed according to the needs, but mainly are performed with materials that give a " grater " appearance.
The use is divided into different types of materials : sand, quartz, microspheres, industrial powder. The treatments are carried out with more or less intensity , as regards the amount spread on the plate or by type of material used depending on whether you want to obtain a more or less decisive "slice" effect on the ball.

A new fashion
Let's talk about the possibility of customizing the racket with a new graphic created specifically for the customer. A new mania to make your tool "unique" and "personal". There are several methodologies. From the beginning, only colored paints were used, and are still used, even with a fluorescent or metallic theme, to "color" one's racket.
For some seasons, digital printing has also been used, which is performed directly on the racket plate, and the casuistry and fantasy have no end here. Photos, personalized graphics make the big difference also in terms of result, making the racket "a unique piece" to admire.

Background
For some decades, and we have really gone back in time, we have tried to make the rackets rougher to remedy the frequent manufacture of the same with too smooth materials, identifying an escamotage tending so-called "sandblasting".
That is, you would take a handful of sand and place it on the plate of the racket after having spread some resin or glue. All this made the appearance absolutely ugly but a little more effectiveness was obtained, with the effect impressed on the ball substantially a little more evident. Over time the methods have evolved, resin and glue have become obsolete and even companies have started to produce slightly rough rackets that averted this rudimentary processing.
The evolution of the game, of the rackets, the ever more powerful shots and the level of the professional players have led to a real "epic" of treatments on the beach tennis racket. Once again there are many approaches and cases of these treatments that mainly started from "Romagna" ... and where if not from the home of beach tennis!
